Vuќi се addressed the UN: What about the crimes against the Serbs, according to the verdicts as if no one committed a crime against the Serbs

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Ana Brnabic are taking part in a session of the UN Security Council that began tonight at around 21pm CET, where the report of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Courts in The Hague will be presented.

Vuќi рече said that he will talk about three things, and that is: the decision on the mechanism and the current practice and the obligations of the mechanism.

- I know that we have heard many statements and that Serbia is part of the region of the former Yugoslavia. We have talked several times about the serious prejudices that have been passed. It is natural that the Republic of Serbia is interested in these verdicts. "I am also talking about Serbia's readiness to take responsibility for its obligations and to be able to implement court decisions regarding the execution of judgments," Vucic said.

- The institutions that exist in Kosovo and Metohija, but are an integral part of Serbia. It is about Nebojsa Pavkovic and Nebojsa Djordjevic and their extradition. The president of the mechanism, Mr. Agius, spoke about the non-compliance with Serbia's obligations regarding the arrest of Vjerica Radeta. Based on the 1996 resolution, his argument is that we have an obligation to extradite him. This is a violation of international humanitarian law. It was said that Serbia ignores its obligations, but on the contrary - Serbia takes its obligations seriously - said the President of Serbia.

Vuќi побара requested that the trial of Radeta and Joji. Take place in Serbia. He asked what was happening with the crimes against the Serb population.

- What about what Haradinaj did in Kosovo? It ended with acquittals before the ICTY. What about crimes against civilians in BiH, Croatia? That was not interesting. But Serbia is often to blame and Serbs are often blamed. We condemn the crimes committed in Srebrenica. However, we welcome the work of the ICTY and the mechanisms. "It usually happens that trials are conducted against Serbs," he said.

He explained how, in his opinion, justice should be done.

- Naser Oric was convicted of crimes against Serbs in BiH, and then the verdict was acquittal. All the witnesses in the case against Haradinaj mysteriously committed suicide. According to the verdicts, it turns out that no one committed a crime against Serbs. But we in Serbia are still fighting for reconciliation and respect. Serbia is a small country, but with brave people, said Serbian President Vucic tonight.
