The Serbian progressive party continues to work in the same rhythm and will certainly continue with the same policy, and the latest personnel decisions are part of the policy - said today the new president of SNS, Milos Vucevic.

He said that the SNS will be protected as the strongest party, the engine of Serbia's development and the biggest supporter of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic. Vucevic assessed that there were many emotions yesterday, but that SNS does not part with Aleksandar Vucic, who remains a member of the party, and that SNS has decided to join the new movement that will be formed and to see Vucic as the leader of that movement.

The new president of SNS indicated that he is aware of the responsibility of leading a party that has the support of a large number of people in the country and that has won elections many times.

"I also expect support from the people of the party, but I have "quick", because I will be able to consult with Aleksandar Vucic when the most delicate issues are on the agenda. That's my preference. I will not argue with him, but we talk and cooperate, that's natural," Vucevic said in an appearance on TV Prva, pension Tanjug.

Commenting on the current political situation in the country and the demands from the protests, as well as the opposition's position that those demands should be met first and only then discussed with the representatives of the government, Vucevic said that it is not a question of some kind of transitional government.

"Regarding the requests expressed in different ways lately, some of them have been fulfilled. The Minister of Education resigned, TV Pink announced the cancellation of the reality show, and Aleksandar Vucic called on the parties to discuss the election and resolution of the crisis through political institutions. It is the only correct path and has nothing to do with the formation of the transitional government," said Vucevic.

When asked if the government understands and listens to the dissatisfaction of the citizens at the protests, he answered that it does and that it has to and that it is clear that the citizens are upset after the terrible events that happened at the beginning of May.

He assessed that a lot has already been done to solve certain problems and stated that the citizens have handed over more than 50.000 pieces of weapons and ammunition, policemen have been brought into the schools, the parents from OU "Vladislav Ribnikar" are heard. until, reality shows have been cancelled, parliamentary elections have been discussed, which, as he said, is changing society.
