The VREDI coalition accused at a press conference today that the young people who burned the national flag on the Day of the Albanian Flag are close associates of the former Deputy Prime Minister for Political System and Inter-Community Relations Artan Grubi.

- We are pleased and proud to announce to the general public that Albania's Independence Day was considered an ideal moment for DUI destabilization, this plan was foiled with 17 people detained. Because no one can ever burn state and national flags in exchange for anything, regardless of their affiliation. We completed our work very professionally and very quickly. It is with regret and concern that we inform you that VREDI has also provided photos that prove that the young people who burned the national flag are close associates of the casino master, Artan Grubi, said today Arben Fetai, Secretary of Foreign Affairs from the Alliance for Albanians, who is also the current deputy Prime Minister in charge of good governance.

Fetai called for reducing tensions and banning hate speech, in order to ensure peace and progress in the country.

- I call for reducing tensions and banning hate speech, because these are obstacles to peace and progress. We as VREDI will continue to be guarantors of the peace, stability and development of our country. Every Albanian has the right to live and enjoy freedom, to celebrate with pride and without fear of political divisions or manipulations that can threaten this peace and harmony that we want to build for everyone, Fetai pointed out.
