The criminal police of SVR Bitola will file a criminal complaint against V. P. (53) from Bitola, employed in the Municipality of Bitola as an inspector in the road traffic control inspectorate.

"The reported in the period from April 12, 2023 until today, using his position and his influence as a person in charge of controlling carriers in the city of Bitola, on two occasions indirectly demanded money from the reporting 41-year-old man from Bitola, who is a manager and the owner of a legal entity for taxi transportation, requested and received a bribe on two occasions and thereby committed the crime of "Accepting a bribe", provided for and punishable under Article 357 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.

The Ministry of the Interior states that V. P. yesterday he was deprived of his liberty and brought before the Public Prosecutor.
