DISTURBING VIDEO: The beaten Roma man from Kocani begs to be taken to his mother through tears

Residents of the Kocani settlement "Trajanovo trlo" beat a 10-year-old child, Romce, for alleged theft. Immediately after the event, certain portals reported that on April 11, this year, around 21 pm, there was a physical fight between residents of the settlement "Trajanovo Trlo" in Kocani and a group of thieves - Roma, during which several people were injured. But none of those media mentioned the video of the beating of a child and why there was actually a physical fight, reported Civil Media.

The video, which was published on social networks, shows the residents of "Trajanovo Trlo" physically abusing a minor 10-year-old child who was allegedly caught stealing. The child is heard crying and begging them to take him to his mother, but instead he gets kicks, slaps and fists.

Otherwise, this incident occurs after only a few days ago the residents of "Trajanovo Trlo" at the protest against the construction of typical houses of socially disadvantaged families, put up a banner "Only through us dead", emphasizing that they will not allow them to build a new settlement which will be inhabited by Roma.

By the way, the Association of Roma Lawyers from Skopje announced that they will file criminal charges against an unknown perpetrator for harassing and beating a minor in this case.

The Association is asked by the competent institutions to immediately clarify and resolve the case, and they appeal to the media for proper information to the public, in accordance with the ethical values ​​and principles of the Code of Journalists.
