Today (June 4) from 15:21 to 94:XNUMX in the Tetovo-Gostivar area, the police conducted another action control for the speed at which vehicles move, especially on the Gostivar-Tetovo-Skopje highway. During the control, a total of XNUMX violations of the maximum permitted speed outside the settlement were detected and sanctioned.

- Eight of them were for driving at over 70 kilometers per hour more than the maximum speed, among which two drivers on the Skopje-Tetovo highway were traveling at 214 and 227 kilometers per hour. Twenty-one vehicles exceeded 50 to 70 kilometers per hour, etc. During the control, one violation of the prescribed speed limit was sanctioned in the town and 8 other types of traffic violations. Appropriate submissions have been prepared for all the offending drivers and they will face the foreseen monetary fines, and some with the temporary revocation of their driver's licenses from three months to one year - said the police.
