Armed forces in the Donetsk region have renewed drone attacks

Ukrainian aviation units attacked the Russian invaders with drones in the Donetsk region.

Soldiers of the 79th Air Assault Brigade demonstrated the use of new drones.

Drones are being used against Russian troops attacking Ukrainian positions near Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

The drones are equipped with a guidance system.

Enables automatic target acquisition and strike without pilot intervention.

This should greatly increase operational efficiency and help circumvent Russian electronic warfare systems.

This solves the problem of losing communication and missing the target because due to the characteristics of the terrain, communication can be lost during the descent.

In other words, this system solves the main problem of the last part that the drone has to overcome to hit the target.

An operator with the homing system simply guides the drone to the target.

This technology is not new to the drones used in Ukraine.

WB Group's Polish drone Warmate is reported to already have such a system.

Also, Ukrainian long-range drones "Lyutyi" are guided to the target with high accuracy precisely because of this system.
