The two newly formed criminal groups continue their primary work - cocaine trafficking in Europe.

In the last five years since the bloody war between the Montenegrin Kavaks and the Skalja clan began, more than 40 people have been killed or arrested.

While hiding from each other, behind their heels was the police, who since September 2018 arrested three leaders of the two clans - Jovica Vukotic (scalar clan), Slobodan Kascelan and Vojin Stupar (Kavak clan) and seized about two tons of cocaine, writes Serbian "Flash".

It all started after 300 kilograms of cocaine disappeared from an apartment in Valencia, which separated the then collaborators of two camps - "Skaljarski" and "Kavachki clan". The two newly formed criminal groups continue their primary work - cocaine trafficking in Europe.

Due to the split, the two groups began looking for different ways to transport cocaine to Western Europe. According to reports of drug seizures in Spain over the past two years involving Montenegrin clans, the country has ceased to be a major port for cocaine. That is, the transport is performed on different routes.

In less than three months, from the end of 2017 to the beginning of 2018 in Greece, in two large actions of the police services, more than 150 kilograms of cocaine were seized. Two Serbs arrested by Greek police have been linked to scoundrel leaders, including Jovica Vukotic. That is why Greece is announcing a red international chase for Vukotic.

At the end of the summer in 2018, in Antalya, during a routine control, a certain Georgi Andonov was identified. However, behind that name hides the leader of the Skalja clan, Jovan Vukotic.

Just days after his arrest, Turkey extradited Vukotic to Serbia, which is prosecuting him for forging documents. At the end of 2018, he was sentenced to 15 months in prison. After serving his sentence, he was transferred to extradition detention at Belgrade Central Prison, where he is awaiting extradition to Montenegro, which is seeking him on suspicion of involvement in mafia liquidations. What is happening with the procedure in Greece due to the seizure of cocaine is not known yet.

After a year, the Skalja clan is left without another shipment of cocaine. In March 2019, Romanian police found a kilogram of cocaine that fell from a van with Bucharest plates during loading. After tracking the movement of drugs, two days later on the Black Sea coast, they found an overturned ship, registered in Romania, with a record 1.040 kilograms of cocaine. The smugglers were obviously doing their job clumsily, and the police were on standby and took advantage of the moment of inattention. It is cocaine with 90% purity, and its market value reaches 300 million euros. Davor T. is mentioned in connection with this case. (31) and one of the heads of the Skalja clan, Igor Dedovic, who was killed this month in a restaurant in Athens.

The rival Kavak clan is also left without drugs. On April 19 last year, 56 kilograms of cocaine, worth about 5 million euros, were found on the Jadran school warship not far from Tivt. It is believed that this drug was supposed to be delivered to Turkey, and due to the seizure, Vojin Stupar, a prominent member of the Kavak clan, was arrested. He is considered one of the leaders of the clan, and is suspected of creating a criminal group, unauthorized possession and distribution of drugs and narcotics, and illegal possession of weapons.

Vojin Stupar has been brought to justice half a year after the arrest of Slobodan Kascelan - who is considered the head of the clan. He was detained in December 2018 in Prague with false documents on a warrant issued by Montenegro. He is suspected of attempted murder in 2010, but also that at the end of May of the same year he organized a criminal organization that committed the crimes of extortion, usury, illegal possession of weapons and explosives, unauthorized production, possession and distribution of drugs and psychotropic substances, bribery, serious acts against public safety and money laundering. Two months after his arrest, he was extradited to his home country, after which proceedings against him began.

During the escape from the police, but also from the rival groups, the members of the two Montenegrin clans obtained false documents. Most of them took out Croatian documents, as evidenced by the action of the Croatian police in November last year when more than 30 people were arrested on suspicion of obtaining and making original passports for members of the Skalja and Kavak clan, including the passport of Igor Dedovic. who was recently killed in Athens.
