The mayor of the City of Skopje, Danela Arsovska, dismissed Tina Petrusevska from the position of acting mayor. Vojislav Dimitrovski was appointed director of the public company "Laika".

As the City of Skopje announced, Dimitrovski is a proposal of the associations for protection of animals, as the best solution for the company that performs activity of special public interest for humane treatment of stray dogs and establishing a system for control of the dog population.

- Dimitrovski is a veterinarian by profession, master in the field of veterinary public health, national consultant of FAO for animal welfare, project leader of UNDP to solve the problem of stray dogs in the Southwest region of Macedonia. He has been appointed by the Veterinary Chamber of Macedonia as a coordinator for solving the problem with stray dogs on the territory of Macedonia, announced the City of Skopje.
