The Eurovision host was positive for Covid during the show

Laura Pausini, one of the hosts of this year's Eurovision song contest revealed that she was positive about Covid-19 during the show. Many wondered what happened to the Italian when she suddenly disappeared during the much-anticipated final. Reappearing in the middle of the show, the hosts laughed at the event and hurried to the final voting - but now, Pausini has explained exactly why she disappeared.

"Well, yes, something was wrong… I'm not feeling well since Saturday. I thought it was caused by accumulated fatigue. "Unfortunately, that was not the case," she said in a temporary photo on Instagram.

"I just found out I'm positive about Covid and for this reason I am isolated and can not travel."

The 48-year-old Italian singer and host has apologized to fans for not being able to do many concerts in the near future.

"Now I just need to heal again and look for new opportunities to reunite. I love you all!"
