In Turkey, twenty suspects of connection with IS were arrested

The Turkish authorities detained in Ankara 20 people suspected of participating in the activities of the terrorist organization "Islamic State" in the Turkish capital, the General Prosecutor's Office announced.

The action was carried out by the Directorate for Combating Terrorism, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office.

At the same time, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced operations conducted in 56 districts of the country, in which 147 people were detained, suspected of being members of criminal groups and of committing fraud.

During the operations, it was established that the groups committed financial fraud to the detriment of public institutions and organizations, manipulation of offers, forgery of money, as well as preparation of false personal documents.

Yerlikaya congratulated the Directorates for Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime, as well as the police authorities in all districts for the successfully conducted operations.
