As part of the "Safe Summer" campaign, in the period from July 29 to August 2, 2022, police officers from the Department of Criminal Police - Illicit Drug Trafficking Unit, SVR Skopje - Illicit Trafficking Unit, SVR Ohrid and SVR Gostivar, detained 20 persons engaged in joint coordinated activities with the aim of discovering perpetrators of crimes in the field of illegal drug trade.

As a result of the activities undertaken at the Gostivar toll plaza, during the control of persons and vehicles on 29.07.2022 at 18.00:24 p.m., the XNUMX-year-olds A.A., V.T., A.P., S. T., all from Skopje, because at A.P. a bag of marijuana was found.

– On the same day at 18.45:26 p.m., police officers deprived B.D. (28), K.J. (27), A.V. (27), G.M. (27) and M.R. (215) of their liberty. ), all from Skopje, because during the inspection of the vehicle in which they were transported, at K.J. two bags of marijuana and one package of cocaine were found. By the Department for Illicit Trade at the Foreign Office for Criminal Affairs Gostivar to the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office Gostivar against A.P. and K.J. criminal charges were filed under Article 30 of the Criminal Code, after which the Judge of a preliminary procedure at the Basic Court of Gostivar sentenced them to house arrest for a period of XNUMX days, the Ministry of the Interior announced today.

On 30.07.2022 at 10.30:19 a.m. by the inspectors from the Department for Illicit Trafficking in Drugs and Weapons, the three persons deprived of liberty are: B.H. (21), B.S. (26) and K.I. (XNUMX). from Skopje, because during the inspection of the vehicle in which they traveled to B.H. two bags of marijuana. After documenting the case, an appropriate submission will be submitted against him.

In the same period, measures were taken by police officers from the Department for Illicit Trafficking in Drugs and Weapons at SVR Ohrid, in cooperation with police officers from the Criminal Police Department - Unit for Illicit Drug Trafficking and the Foreign Office for Criminal Affairs Kichevo. activities in catering facilities and during artistic events-concerts in the area of ​​Ohrid, with the aim of effectively detecting crimes related to the unauthorized production and sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors and with the indulgence of narcotic drugs, while that eight people were detained.

- Thus, on 29.07.2022 at 22.15:20 p.m. near the former barracks, during a musical event, M.J. (23.15) from Ohrid was found with a bag of cocaine. At 17:30.07.2022 p.m., a 23.30-year-old from Ohrid was found with marijuana. On July 32, 23.50, at 18:17 p.m., near RC Zapad, marijuana was found with V.P. (XNUMX) from Skopje. On the same day, during a control in a catering facility at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., during an examination of M.M. (XNUMX) and a XNUMX-year-old, both from Skopje, at M.M. marijuana was found, the Ministry of the Interior explains.

On 31.07.2022 around 00.20:19 in Ohrid during a music event, one bullet and one shell casing were found in the possession of I.M. (22.00) from Bitola, and at 22:22 p.m. a tablet was found in the possession of FN (XNUMX) from Bitola, and Marijuana was found with K.A. (XNUMX) from Shtip. The persons have been detained and after documenting the cases, an appropriate submission will be submitted.
