Do you know which city in the Balkans has the most cryptocurrency owners? It is about the world in which businessmen, banks, large companies and many others work. Some people from Subotica are already familiar with terms like cryptocurrency, blockchain, tokenization. However, for most of us these are still taboo subjects.

"Subotica is the first in the Balkans in terms of the number of owners of cryptocurrencies. This city is 2,4 percent higher than Belgrade," says Ivan Andrejevic, co-founder of CTB Krpto & Consulting, co-author of the book "Crypto Revolution" and founder of the largest Facebook group in Serbia "Crypto Traders Balkan" in an interview. Today.

"Subotica is far above average. "Cryptocurrencies are not money, it's just a means of exchange that is impossible to counterfeit and remains permanently recorded as a record," Andrejevic explains.

"The thing about real money is that it is mostly used for criminal purposes, while cryptocurrencies, although a taboo subject, only 0,8 percent are used for criminal purposes, because once a transaction is made, it can never be deleted again . As long as there is internet streaming, the transaction cannot be deleted, he adds.

"Subotica is significantly above average, and Cacak is also quite different from the rest of Serbia," Andrejevic notes. Serbia is one of the leading countries with one of the best laws in the world for digital property, but individuals and legal entities are insufficiently informed about it and somehow there is still fear among them.
