In Serbia, 2.000 medical workers are on sick leave due to the coronavirus.

The Ministry of Health announced that 29 are in hospital and the rest are in isolation.

In Serbia, the medical staff has been decimated from the strongest peak of the coronavirus so far, said the MIA correspondent from Belgrade.

Professor Dr. Vladimir Djukic, director of the KBC "Dr. Dragisa Misovic", told "Novosti" that in this hospital of 64 nurses in the surgical department, as many as 22 are sick.
