The Ministry of Interior informs that yesterday it continued with the intensified action controls in the field of traffic, whereby on the territory of the City of Skopje a total of 241 sanctions were imposed, including 18 for driving faster than the allowed speed, 14 for driving under action of alcohol and 26 for driving without a driver's license.

Also, 20 sanctions were imposed for offenses committed by motorcyclists, 10 sanctions for driving technically defective and unregistered vehicles, 24 sanctions for not using a seat belt, 23 for using a mobile phone while driving, one for passing a red light and 50 sanctions for illegal parking.

- The intensified action traffic controls continue. We appeal to the citizens to respect the traffic rules and regulations in order to increase the traffic safety and together to contribute to safer roads., it is added in the announcement.
