In Skopje, a help point will be opened tomorrow for the victims of the fires in Macedonia

A humanitarian point where material goods will be collected for the citizens who suffered from the fires in Eastern Macedonia in the country will be opened from tomorrow in Skopje. At this point, citizens will be able to take canned food, clothes, sneakers, furniture, mattresses and various other material goods, which will then be taken to about 30 villages to about 400 households.

The action is coordinated by the coalition led by "Humanitarian actions.mk", Confederation of Trade Union Organizations of Macedonia KSOM and
IPO International Police Organization.

The main coordinator of KSOM, Gotse Delchev Todev, announced at today's press conference that the humanitarian action will last several days with the aim of improving the lives of citizens whose homes have been burned in eastern Macedonia.

- Our goal is to collect as much material and technical means, wardrobe, food as possible. Our focus is on the Ovchepol region. It would be frivolous to say that we can help for the entire eastern region, but we will focus on Sveti Nikole, Probishtip, Kratovo, Kumanovo, the move near Staro Nagoricane. It is about 30 villages and about 400 households. Tomorrow we start the process of accepting donations, we even accept doors and windows, this will go to the second phase, announced Delchev Todev.

The president of the International Police Organization IPO in North Macedonia, Eyup Akija called on all citizens, all regional directors of IPO throughout the country and all members of IPO who are able to help the citizens who suffered from the fires.

Vladimir Cholakovski from "Humanitarian actions.mk" informed that at the moment they are running a big Facebook campaign for tomorrow's opening of this big humanitarian point.

- All our members and supporters have been informed. Today we will coordinate everyone who is currently in the country from our membership and supporters. From tomorrow we start collecting larger amounts of donations in the form of clothes and food. We have already collected medicines and we hope that in four to five days we will all coordinate with cars and vans to take them to the families. A state of emergency should be declared in eastern Macedonia, but we are not a state organization to urge that.

He called on all supporters from tomorrow to come with their donations, which will then be taken to all those families threatened by the fires.

The point will be next to "East Gate Mall" near the utility company.
