As part of the intensified action controls in the traffic area of ​​the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the territory of the City of Skopje, a total of 128 measures were imposed yesterday, including 20 for driving at a speed higher than the permitted speed, nine for driving a vehicle without a driver's license and 11 sanctions for driving under the influence of alcohol.

- Seven measures have been imposed for using a mobile phone, nine sanctions for passing a closed signal (red light), five sanctions for a novice driver, 10 measures for offenses committed by motorcycle drivers..., the statement of the Ministry of the Interior states.

The police point out that the intensified action controls continue and appeal to the citizens to respect traffic rules and regulations in order to increase traffic safety and contribute to safer roads together.
