A military site in the Khmelnytskyi region was hit in a Russian attack

A military site in western Ukraine was hit in a new wave of Russian attacks overnight, Ukrainian authorities said today.
"Russian troops hit several locations, including a military one in the Khmelnytskyi region," Ukrainian officials said via Telegram.
The Ukrainian administration said that a fire was caused in fuel and military equipment warehouses and indicated that the landing strip of the military airport was damaged.
"Efforts to extinguish the fire are continuing," the statement said, adding that "five aircraft are out of service," without giving further details.
"The works to repair the runway have started," the Ukrainian administration said.
It has not been reported whether there were any casualties in the attack.
Ukraine was once again the target of a major Russian airstrike tonight, the Ukrainian army said earlier.
Ukrainian army chief Valery Zaluzhny announced via Telegram that the "occupiers" had attacked military targets and important infrastructure targets in Ukraine and had launched up to 40 cruise missiles from aircraft over the Caspian Sea and "about 35 drones".
According to the city's military administration, more than 40 air targets were destroyed in Kyiv alone.
It was the 15th attack on Kiev since the beginning of May, when Russia began to step up attacks on Ukraine and especially on the capital.
