More than 730 people were detained at today's protests in Russia against the mobilization, the Russian movement for the protection of human rights OVD-Info said.

According to OVD-Info, there have been arrests in 32 cities across Russia, from St. Petersburg to Siberia.

The arrests came three days after Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin announced a partial mobilization.

The protests are illegal under Russian law, which also prohibits any activity deemed defamatory of the armed forces.
