SIA Ohrid announced today that after coordinated measures were taken by police officers from the Rapid Deployment Unit, Regional Center for Border Affairs - West, SIA Ohrid, Forest Police and the Public Enterprise "National Forests" in the forest belt of Mount Karaorman, in the area of ​​Struga village Twelve people, aged between 12 and 23, were imprisoned in Mislodezda.

- The persons were found during illegal cutting of firewood, during which several cubic meters of cut wood, off-road vehicles, trucks, tractors, chainsaws and axes were found on the spot, said the spokesman of the SIA Ohrid Stefan Dimoski.

The persons, he added, were detained in a police station, the vehicles with illegally cut trees were confiscated and handed over to the Forest Police, and after the case is fully documented, an appropriate charge will be filed against them.
