In Beijing, the day of all-Slavic educators St. Cyril and Methodius

Cultural event on the occasion of the day of all-Slavic educators St. Cyril and Methodius was organized in Beijing, specifically in the Macedonian embassy, ​​on the initiative of the Department of Macedonian Language at the University of Foreign Studies in Beijing.

Ambassador Sashko Nasev presented books to the library from the Macedonian Language Department. Head Chen Qiao thanked and expressed hope for successful cooperation in the future, reports MIA.

Under the direction of lecturer Renata Penčova, the students recited the poems "Birth of the Word" by Atso Shopov, "Bukvi" by Gane Todorovski, "Vezilka" by Blaže Koneski, "Glagolitsa" by Ante Popovski.

The Macedonian community, which lives and works in Beijing, and prof. Jasmina Djurovska-Blajeska, Professor of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Tsinghua International School, Beijing. It promotes the Macedonian culture and language through informal and additional activities. Her colleagues from China, Spain, Vietnam, Philippines also participated in the event and recited poetry by Macedonian and Chinese poets.

Macedonian folk songs such as "Macedonian girl" and "Jovano Jovanke", "Back, back Kalino mome" were also interpreted during the event.
