Aerodrom is the first municipality where it will be possible to play tekball in primary schools. The implementation of this project is the result of the cooperation between the Municipality of Aerodrom and the International Taekball Federation, which is implemented with the support of the Macedonian Olympic Committee.

Within the framework of this cooperation, 40 tacball tables and 80 tacball balls were donated to the Airport Municipality. Apart from the donation, the cooperation includes professional support for the training of primary school teachers who will have to introduce and guide the students in this sport.
These days, the Municipality of Aerodrom is hosting the qualifiers for participation in the European Taekwondo Olympic Games, which will be held next year in Poland.

I am glad that the Airport is the host of such an event, but also a pioneer in the introduction of a new sports discipline. I strongly believe that future local, national and international taekwondo talents will emerge from the schools in Aerodrom, says Mayor Timcho Mutsunski.
