New protest march in honor of Frosina Kulakova on Sunday

On Sunday, February 16, the civic initiative "Who's Next" is organizing a protest march with the stated goal of awakening civic awareness and power. The event will begin at 17:00 PM in front of the Government Building.

"This Sunday, February 16.02.2025, 17 at 00:XNUMX PM, with a starting location in front of the Government, we are going out on a protest march! Not just as individuals, but as a community! Our city and our society need us together, as a collective that demands responsibility, indiscriminate justice and security for every citizen," say the organizers.

The announcement of the protest emphasizes that the system that is supposed to guarantee protection and justice is increasingly failing, and its dysfunctionality has serious consequences for citizens.

"We've waited too long for someone else to improve things, to make real changes, to provide us with the quality of life we deserve. It's time to ask for them ourselves! It's time to remind those in power who they serve and why they are in their positions," emphasize "Who's Next."

They are calling for fundamental changes and an end to impunity, insecurity, and low standards that, they say, they will no longer tolerate.

"After the public forums held, with your support and the expert public, we have prepared specific measures and demands to the institutions, which will enable a fairer, more functional and safer system for all of us. Because we deserve better," the organizers emphasize.

The key demands that the initiative puts at the focus of the protest are:

1. Safe streets and cities;
2. Non-selective fair system;
3. Educated youth with a moral compass pointing in the right direction.

Organizers say that this is a moment when citizens need to unite and demand the changes that are rightfully theirs.

"It is time to demand together what is due to us as citizens of this country – for those we have lost, for us, and for all who come after us. The power is in our hands. The power is in the people," call out "Who's Next."
