Forty-nine soldiers of the Ivory Coast, who have been detained in Bamako for more than a month, are accused of "undermining state security" in Mali.

"Soldiers from the Ivory Coast were accused on Friday of "attempting to undermine state security" and placed under an execution warrant," French media reported, citing a source in Mali's judiciary.

Ivory Coast denies the allegations. The country claims its soldiers were part of a United Nations mission and is demanding their release.
