Air quality measuring stations throughout the country tonight show concentrations of particles in the air that are several times higher than the maximum allowed.
The most polluted parts of Skopje tonight (the highest pollution of 197 micrograms of PM10 particles per cubic meter was measured in Lisice), and there is also a high concentration of PM2.5 particles (118 micrograms per cubic meter, which is almost five times more than the maximum allowed value) ).
Among the Macedonian cities with the most polluted air are: Gostivar, Kichevo, Strumica, Tetovo, Veles, Kavadarci...
The drop in temperatures, the fog that began to appear in the valleys and the beginning of the heating season herald another winter in which Macedonia will "suffocate" in polluted air.
