A new hearing on the "Trajectory" of the SPO in the Criminal Court
A new hearing on the case "Trajectory" of the Special Public Prosecutor's Office is to be held today in the Basic Criminal Court in Skopje.
The "Trajectory" case is in evidentiary procedure and the former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski is accused in it, who is being tried in absentia, the former Minister of Transport and Communications Mile Janakieski, the former Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Pesevski and the ex-director of PE State Roads Ljupco Georgievski.
According to the indictment of the SPO, the defendants in the second half of 2012 and during 2013 took several actions with which in the procedure for selection of a company for construction of highways Miladinovci - Stip and Kicevo - Ohrid used and exceeded their authority. By doing so, they caused damage to the Budget of at least 155 million euros.
The last hearing was postponed due to the absence of an expert.
