Signatures are being collected in Croatia for a referendum against kovid certificates
In Croatia today, organized by the right-wing party Most, the collection of signatures for a referendum for the abolition of the number of certificates in state and public institutions began.
To organize the referendum, in the next two weeks, until December 18, it is necessary to collect about 370.000 signatures from the citizens.
If that happens, the citizens would decide within 30 days to revoke the covid certificates to enter public and state institutions, but also to transfer the competencies from the National Headquarters for Civil Protection, which carries epidemiological measures, to the Assembly.
Signatures are being collected at about 1.200 locations across Croatia.
Most is not against the measures, but we want them to be consistent, epidemiologically based and non-discriminatory, said Most from MP Marija Selak Raspudic.
According to her, alternatives to covid certificates would be testing vulnerable groups in all institutions and respecting epidemiological measures.
