In honor of its ten-year anniversary, "Piano Trio" will hold a concert in Vinica

The chamber ensemble "Piano Trio" performed at the "Ohrid Summer" festival last year.

On June 24, starting at 20:10 p.m., the "Piano Trio" chamber ensemble will perform at the "Tosho Arsov" House of Culture in Vinica. The program includes works by the composers F. Ivanov, R. Leoncavallo, G. Nachevski, Zh. Bizet, K. Saint-Saëns and T. Lily. The concert is being held on the occasion of the jubilee – XNUMX years since the founding of the "Piano Trio".

It is composed of three established musicians – Tatiana Petrushevska Karaskakovska, first oboe in the NOB orchestra; Marjan Milosevski, first bassoon in the NOB orchestra and professor of bassoon at FMU; Petar Makarievski, pianist and artistic associate at FDU.

The three proven artists, driven by the desire to explore new compositions and increase their repertoire, formed their own trio in 2014. They are convinced that the existence of chamber ensembles of any kind is necessary and productive for musicians, both in terms of cooperation and the need to increase the repertoire, but also to perform works that are not only for a solo instrument, but are in collaboration with others instruments.

The formation of this trio allows for a wide repertoire from different eras and compositions that require virtuosity in performance and are a challenge for concert podiums.

Part of the composers that are in the repertoire of this trio are H. Broad, T. Lalieu, K. Friedeman, W.A. Mozart, F. Poulanc, G.F. Handel, A. Vivaldi, A. Reichenauer, L.W. Beethoven, M. Glinka, Zh. Français, and it is constantly enriched with new compositions.

The "Piano Trio" had its first performance at the concert and CD promotion in honor of the flutist Ilija Zimbo in Skopje. Concerts followed in Demir Kapija, Kumanovo, Vinica, Kruševo, Prilep, Gevgelija, Berovo, Delčevo, Kočani, Novi Sad, Skopje, Istanbul.

In their repertoire, they always have works that are performed for the first time in Macedonia and are met with enthusiasm by the audience.

In 2022, the Macedonian composers Vanja Nikolovski - Gjumar and Filip Ivanov wrote works especially for this trio, which had their world premiere at the Chamber Music Festival in Novi Sad, a city that was the "European Capital of Culture for 2022".

In November 2022, the trio performed a recital program at the festival "Autumn Music Festivities" with works from world literature. In 2023, the composers Kostadin Delinikolov and Goran Nachevski dedicated their compositions that had their world premiere to the "Days of Macedonian Music" (DMM).

In July 2023, the trio performed an all-night concert at the renowned "Ohrid Summer" festival. In September of the same year, the trio performed an all-night concert at the Macedonian Cultural Center in Istanbul, performing exclusively works by Macedonian composers.

What characterizes the "Piano Trio" as a composition are: refined and powerful sound, interactivity, precision in performance, emphasized individuality and virtuosity of the musicians.
