69 drivers were sanctioned for speeding on the territory of SVR Bitola. Among them is a driver with a blood alcohol level of 2,61 per thousand, the Department for Public Relations and Protocol at the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed this afternoon.

"In the period from 10 a.m. to 14 p.m. today, on the territory of SVR Bitola, an intensified action control was implemented to sanction drivers who drive a vehicle at a speed greater than the prescribed speed. At the same time, 69 drivers were sanctioned. Of them, 46 drivers exceeded the speed limit in the town, and 23 outside the town. "Appropriate submissions have been prepared for all violators," the announcement states.

The Ministry of the Interior emphasizes that the intensified action traffic controls will continue in the coming days.

"We appeal to the citizens to respect traffic rules and regulations in order to increase traffic safety and together contribute to safer roads," the announcement reads.
