What I can say is that in the next period the bodies of VMRO-DPMNE will make a decision whether to participate and possibly with which names would participate in such a government, said today the spokesperson of VMRO-DPMNE, Naum Stoilkovski, when asked if his party will participate with its ministers in the technical government, which should come into operation at the end of January.

To a journalist's question, "Would you vote for Jovan Mitrevski as the President of the Assembly", Stoilkovski said that it is not important at the moment.

- It is not important at the moment, what is important is that Talat Xhaferi, by the choice of Mala Recica and with one blackmail from DUI to SDS, will be prime minister in the next period without any legitimacy, said the spokesperson of the largest opposition party.

At a meeting in Mala Recica yesterday, DUI proposed Talat Xhaferi as the technical prime minister of the transitional government from January 28 until the spring elections. Integratives have authorized party president Ahmeti to continue talks with political parties about possible coalitions for the presidential and parliamentary elections.

The model of technical or Przyna government was first introduced before the early parliamentary elections in 2016, to get out of the big political crisis after the discovery of the affair with the massive illegal wiretapping. Technical government was envisaged as a transitional concept, but remained operational in the Electoral Code and the Law on Government. The question of an Albanian prime minister was updated by the leader of DUI, Ali Ahmeti, who after the elections in 2020 promised an Albanian prime minister and agreed with SDSM that the idea would be implemented 100 days before the next elections.

The opposition party with the largest number of MPs (VMRO-DPMNE) proposes the Minister of Internal Affairs and Minister of Labor and Social Policy in the Transitional Government. At the proposal of the Prime Minister, the Assembly appoints additional deputies to the Ministers of Internal Affairs and Labor and Social Policy from the ranks of the government (SDSM), but also from the opposition, in the departments of finance, agriculture, information society and administration.

The mandate of the transitional government lasts from the election until the announcement of the final results of the State Election Commission for the elections for members of parliament.
