VMRO-DPMNE is against all the strategic decisions that the country has made since its independence until today, says the prime minister and president of SDSM in an interview for the National Television. Dimitar Kovacevski.

"So, if we go back to joining NATO, the Prespa Agreement, if we go back to the conclusion of the Good Neighbor Agreement, the negotiation framework, VMRO-DPMNE is always against it. However, they did not vote against, they always leave the assembly hall. They always hide behind the citizens, by asking for certain initiatives, referendums, etc.," Kovacevski said.

He says that for 17 years we have been waiting for the start of negotiations with the EU, and previously VMRO-DPMNE was in power for 11 years.

"If we look back, we will see that we have been waiting for 17 years to start negotiations with the EU. However, in those 17 years, VMRO-DPMNE was in power for 11 years. The problem is that VMRO-DPMNE and the policy that was led by that leadership, and which policy is mirrored in this leadership. I do not draw an equal sign between the leadership of a political party and the entire membership. It is a policy of discontinuity of the state. So if you look at the policy led by President Gligorov, led by Prime Minister Kljusev, led by President Crvenkovski, Prime Minister Georgievski, President Trajkovski and if you compare it with the policy of the 11 years of Gruevski and Ivanov, then you will see a clear difference", Kovacevski added.
