The opposition VMRO-DPMNE has announced a press conference for today at which it will reveal "electricity profiteers". We are transmitting the announcement in its entirety:

"Today, the citizens will find out who are the crisis profiteers in Macedonia, the Broilo affair will reveal the companies and profiteers who got rich from the troubles of the citizens. Taking advantage of the crisis situation in the country, people from the government of the anti-Macedonian SDS stole from the money of the citizens. In Macedonia, a dozen businesses are closed every day on the street, hundreds of people remain unemployed, and some get rich through criminal tenders and with citizens' money. The SDS kleptomaniacs did not think, and did not work for a way out of the energy crisis, but worked for personal profit. The companies of high-ranking officials from the government were running the electric meter to get rich.

The "Broilo" affair, which we will announce today at a press conference, will reveal the truth about which companies and which officials from the anti-Macedonian SDS got rich on the backs of the citizens. This affair will reveal the crisis profiteers. While the economy is sinking, the citizens don't know how to pay the high electricity bills, the crisis profiteers have become enormously rich. The "Broilo" scandal will expose the business schemes for the enrichment of kleptomaniacs from the SDS, and will also show why this government is fighting convulsively to continue the crisis situation in the energy sector," said the opposition party.
