Tomorrow in the Club of Deputies, starting at 12:00, an EU grant agreement with the EIB for a sewage treatment plant in Skopje will be signed, the Government announced.

Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Maricic, Minister of Finance Fatmir Besimi, Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Kaja Shukova, European Ambassador David Geer and Deputy President of EIB Liliana Pavlova will address the signing of the agreement.

The treatment plant was the subject of great controversy, after last year in October, Skopje Mayor Danela Arsovska accused that VMRO-DPMNE officials were involved in malpractice with the tender for the construction of the treatment plant. This was the beginning of the "split" between Arsovska and the party that helped her get elected, and in the following weeks she dismissed all directors of public enterprises in Skopje from VMRO-DPMNE and appointed her own people.

Arsovska dismissed the director of PE "Vodovod i Kanalizaje" Zlatko Perinski, accused him of arbitrariness
