The Government of Serbia last night apologized to the citizens, the National Assembly and the President for sending a working version of the statement to all media during the preparation for the government session, due to a technical error, before the Government session, MIA reports from Belgrade.

At last night's session, held at 20 pm, the Government decided to withdraw the Law on Expropriation from the parliamentary procedure, which was returned by President Aleksandar Vuќi на for re-decision in the Parliament, the Government said in a statement.

The Government will analyze whether and to what extent the amendments to the Law on Expropriation are necessary and only if it is determined that the law should be changed, it will do so with a wide public debate involving the professional public, professional associations, business sector and civil society. society, the statement said.

The government also proposed amendments to the law on referendum and the people's initiative to the assembly.

The President of the Assembly of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, confirmed today for Pink TV that the amendments to the Law on Expropriation will no longer be discussed, because the President of Serbia returned it for re-decision, and the Government then withdrew it from the procedure, adding that this means that returns to the public debate and that "the question is whether and when it will change at all."

Dacic pointed out that the procedure is such that, when the President of Serbia returns the law for a new decision, the Assembly must decide on it again or the Government withdraws it from the procedure.

When it comes to the Law on Referendum, the Government sent a proposal of amendments to the Parliament, said Dacic and reminded that a session is scheduled for tomorrow at which MPs will discuss it.
