The government terminates seven contracts for small hydropower plants on Shar Mountain
On the initiative of the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, Nasser Nuredini, the information was adopted today at a government meeting. in relation to the status of concession agreements for small hydroelectric power plants located in the zones of strict protection and active management of the Shar Mountain National Park. The information covers six small hydroelectric power plants, which will not be implemented, informs the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning (MZSPP).

It is about MHE Ljubotenska no. 66, MHE Ljubotenska no. 67, Belovishka no. 107, Pena no. 82, MHEC Lešochka 100 and Lešochka 101, according to the announcement.
With special information, as the Ministry informs, a proposal for the amicable termination of the Concession Agreement for MHEC Šeliče with ref. no. 91, located in the area of NP Shar Planina, in the zone of sustainable use, whereby the Concessionaire agreed to return the paid concession fee.
