Willow Smith commented on the incident at the Oscars: I love him and accept his humanity

The media storm that followed, Willow says, didn't affect her creativity and didn't shake her as much as her "inner demons."
"I see my whole family as people. I love them and accept their humanity. "Because of the position we are in, our humanity is sometimes not accepted and we are forced to behave in a way that is not healthy and fair," she said.
Social media users were not thrilled with Willow's statement. “Come on, most people don't go around slapping other people. There is no excuse for it,” wrote one user. “Please dear. We're human too, but we don't slap other people on TV. We have some manners and respect,” added another.

As a reminder, last week Smith posted a video on his YouTube profile in which he publicly apologized to Rock for the incident.
