In the series of Free Press we spoke with Stephanie Todorova, the third best female kickboxer in the world, a devoted mother and motivational leader.
With her dedication and courage, she explained to us that this discipline is not only for men, but also for women who want to explore their physical and mental strength.
Her story with sports began when she was four years old with gymnastics.
She has been training kickboxing professionally for two years and proves that a woman can believe in herself and become the third kickboxer in the world, which is an even greater result that she set herself as a challenge, both in general and in the world ranks.
– I changed the sport, tried kickboxing, at the second training I came out and said: "I want to be the first in Europe". That was my goal - says Todorova for "Sloboden Pechat".

As a coach and motivational leader, she encourages women to surpass themselves, break stereotypes and conquer their goals.
- Women's interest in this sport, both in terms of results and interest in general, remains at a very high level, which for me, as a woman, is a great pleasure - explains Todorova.
Every training and competition is a test of personal limits and willpower that will result in a healthy body and a healthy spirit.
- And most importantly, we will have a healthy nation, healthy women, girls, who will be even stronger and braver mothers in the future - said Todorova for "Sloboden Pechat".
Her future goal is to work with children with special needs, especially single mothers, who face challenges on many fronts.
– One thing that is currently my goal in the future is to work with children who really need it. With single mothers, who really can't work and take care of the child, both physical growth and mental growth - she explains.

Stephanie told us that most men and women perceive kickboxing as aggressive. And she proves the opposite. He ended the interview for "Sloboden Pechat" with a motivational message that says:
– If you practice, if you upgrade, you learn daily. And that is possible only if you love yourself.
