The most popular event on the domestic scene "Golden Ladybug of Popularity", will be held on February 19, at the Boris Trajkovski Arena. Under the motto "Artificial Intelligence for the Government, Natural Entertainment for the People", this year too there will be an excellent show with many guests and well-thought-out satire, announced the organizer and owner of Radio "Bubamara", Ranko Petrovic, with whom we spoke on the morning show "Sloboden Pechat".

– We don't have only 27 golden "Ladybugs", but if we also look at how long they lasted, that each one lasted twice as long as it should, it's as if we made 52. Since this is the only event where such a large production is invested, sound system, lighting, a huge orchestra, the whole thing is prepared for more than 4 days, sometimes I feel bad not to archive a musical item and have it remain for Macedonia for the future. When all that production has already been put on, it's a pity not to record it and let it remain forgotten. Maybe those last 15 minutes, someone remembers and tells them, but therefore, what happened in the previous 4 hours, is a very beautiful film that can only be experienced live – says Ranko.

Although he does not want to reveal details about what this edition of Bubamara will bring, Ranko announced that we will have an excellent and natural event made with soul.

– This year will be very interesting, we are going under the motto "Golden Ladybug of Popularity, a guarantor for good entertainment". I think it is clear what we want to say, when guarantors are used and who needs to pay loans and who is in debt. And the second variant, the main motto of this "Golden Ladybug of Popularity", as the poster was made, is "Artificial intelligence for the government, and natural entertainment for the people". There is a lot of talk now about artificial intelligence, here America and Trump want to invest 500 billion dollars in artificial intelligence, and I think that people here in Macedonia and all television viewers in the world and the diaspora need normal, natural entertainment, which is created for the human soul. That is why there is music, humor, performances, nice jokes and everything that is needed, so this will be a very natural, beautiful "Golden Ladybug of Popularity" - said Ranko.

Ranko is one of the rare individuals in Macedonia who still believes in our culture and art, with which, as he says, we can compete with the biggest names in the world, and Bubamara is an event that proves that.

– Actually, that is the point of Bubamara, that Macedonia is not a country where you don't have a Universal Hall, that it is not a country where we always have the most polluted city in the world, it is not a country where all the factories can poison you, and mines where everything is put, but on the contrary, that it is a country where a cultural event can be held, where there are beautiful people in the audience, and those same people want to fight for some more beautiful values. And when they see people in America, our emigrants, but also everyone else in the Balkans, they say to themselves: "Hey, this is Macedonia". So we are not the last palanka, but in culture we are number one - says Ranko.
