We will either never enter the European Union or we will enter the entire Western Balkans at once. In order for that to happen, the Bosnian situation, the Kosovo issue should be resolved, Montenegro should be resolved geostrategically, Serbia should decide to enter, Albania should adapt thereо they need to decide and want us to nè pushed with everyone - says analyst Aleksandar Ristevski.

In the morning program of Sloboden Pechat, Ristevski emphasizes that our entry into the EU is dependent on the overall regional picture of the Western Balkans and that only with "bulldozer diplomacy" could it happen that we and our entire environment find ourselves within the EU.

- "Bulldozer diplomacy" is more characteristic of the Americans than of Europe, whichè it still drives national politics and that is a characteristic of all states, and it has its roots in the 19th century and nothing has changed. That is why today we do not have a unified or unified European policy - claims the analyst.

Ristevski believes that Macedonia has so far demonstrated two concepts in terms of our approach to the EU. The first concept is a demand for some kind of justice, while the second, which he says was a feature of the previous government, is with political decisions and concessions that something can be neglected, regardless of what the internal situation in the country is.

- The problem of Macedonia and the Western Balkans as a whole are not political decisions, concessions, borders, identity and national issues, but the overall functioning of the state itself - says Ristevski.

He believes that our diplomacy should not stand still, but on the contrary, it should skillfully use global processes, in order to reach the desired goal.

- Sometimes we also need to exert pressure, diplomatically, semi-diplomatically, secondly, to look at our own interests. The first, fundamental interest of Macedonia is to be a functional state - claims Ristevski, and that perhaps sitting on two chairs in foreign relations could be welcomed in the European integration process, which would be accelerated in this way.
