Rampage on Skopje's boulevards and streets has been claiming victims for years. Most recently, the unfortunate incident involving the untimely death of Frosina Kulakova has caused great concern and unrest among citizens.

Free Press asked citizens about traffic culture, reckless driving and driving without a driver's license, as well as speeding on the boulevards.

-I am a driver, I have been driving since I was 18 and I have never sat down to drive without a driver's license. I have also had traffic accidents, but they were not my fault, they were caused by the other party - said one lady.

None of those surveyed had ever driven without a driver's license, and all publicly expressed their dissatisfaction with the irresponsible driving of road users.

-I worked in the Commission for Driving Licenses and as an instructor. What is happening on the streets is incomprehensible for the 21st century. Instead of moving forward with culture, we are going the opposite way. In my time there was some order, some culture and so on. Now this is madness, I only get into a car in necessary situations, otherwise I move around by bicycle and city bus – said a passerby.
