Almost two days after the catastrophic earthquakes that claimed thousands of lives in Turkey and Syria, rescuers pulled alive one-and-a-half-year-old twins, Amine and Ahmet Yelcin, from under the ruins of a five-story building in the city of Gaziantep, "Anatolia" reported.

The parents of the two children were also saved, reports the agency, which published a video of the moment when the survivors were pulled out, to the general joy of the rescuers and everyone present.

Thousands of rescuers are working around the clock to pull survivors from the rubble.

According to the official figures so far, in the series of earthquakes yesterday and the day before yesterday in Turkey and Syria, over 7.200 people died, and over 25.000 were injured.
