VIDEO | Why do Danes let babies sleep peacefully on the street?

Can you imagine a situation in which you carelessly leave the stroller with your baby in front of the store while shopping? It is almost unimaginable for our spaces.

But that practice is quite common in Denmark, where you can see prams with babies left unattended by parents at almost every turn. Among other things, this is possible because child abductions are extremely rare in Denmark.

Also, parents equip strollers with baby monitors and thus monitor the condition while shopping or performing some other obligation. However, they never go too far and have as much control over the situation as possible.

However, many tourists find it strange when they see a baby in a stroller in front of a shop or cafe. So if the road ever takes you to Copenhagen, you shouldn't be surprised to see abandoned baby carriages – it's quite normal in this Scandinavian country.
