VIDEO: Zelensky promised the Russians three things if they surrender
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in last night's address to the Russian soldiers, promised to protect them if they surrender.
The president of Ukraine promised three things to those who would surrender. As he said, all those who surrender will be provided with humanitarian treatment according to the rules of international law.
Furthermore, Zelensky promises the Russian soldiers that no one will know the conditions of their surrender, i.e. no one will know whether they surrendered voluntarily or were captured. Furthermore, the prisoners will not be returned to Russia if they do not want it.
He also said in his speech that the Russian commanders do not care about the lives of their soldiers and that they fill the ranks in the units only so that they can send them to their deaths.
"It is better to escape from criminal mobilization than to become disabled," said the President of Ukraine.
It is better not to take a conscription letter than to die as a war criminal. It is better to run away than to be crippled and then bear responsibility in the court. It is better to surrender to 🇺🇦captivity than to be killed by the strikes of our weapons@ZelenskyyUa pic.twitter.com/g8t5kXy3EB
