The Change Management Center CUP has been working on the reform of public administration for over 15 years, and since the end of 2022 it has been implementing the project rethinking management, which is supported by the Government of the United Kingdom through the British Embassy in Skopje. The purpose of this project and the platform "Responsible Government" is to strengthen the transparency of institutions towards citizens in the delivery of results, promised policies and services, he says Dimitar Vrglevski one "CPU Change Management Center" during his appearance in the morning show of Free Press.

- Within the framework of this project, among other things, CUP also developed the platform responsible government.mk, the purpose of which is to monitor the degree of implementation of the Government's program, that is, to monitor the extent to which the Government and the institutions fulfill and implement the promises that the political parties previously gave to the citizens - pointed out Vrglevski.

As he pointed out, the platform was created, among other things, to monitor pre-election promises based on the programs of the parties/coalitions for the 2024 Parliamentary Elections and shows the specific promises of five major political parties/coalitions that were part of the last mandate in the Parliament.

According to Vrglevski, the platform presents promises in 11 social areas, namely digitization, good governance, economy, energy, health, agriculture, infrastructure, education, justice, accession to the EU and political system, and labor and social policy. All contents are in Macedonian, Albanian and English.

- The platform aims to stimulate citizens to demand greater accountability from the Government. The work program of the Government itself was not discussed so often in the pre-election and our idea at CUP was to raise to a higher level the discussion around the program itself about what the Government should do. The web platform contains all the most important elements, ie. indicators that should be implemented later in other strategic programs - pointed out Vrglevski.

CUP points out that this platform responsiblevlada.mk it should lead to greater responsibility of the officials for delivering the promises, and the results should be visible, measurable and comparable so that the citizens can follow them.
