VIDEO: In the north of Kosovo today at least five attacks on journalist teams, there are burned and damaged vehicles
A TEVE1 television vehicle was set on fire in Zubin Potok, after journalists were also attacked earlier and several other vehicles painted with Serbian and Russian symbols and painted were damaged by Albanian-language media covering protests by local Serbs in northern Kosovo.
The journalist of TEVE1, Chlirimtar Morina, who reports from the protests of the local Serbs, in which there are several masked persons, stated that they did not manage to see who set fire to the vehicle and that there were no injuries in the incident.
The event took place shortly after the Association of Journalists of Kosovo (AGK) appealed to local authorities and the international community to protect journalists reporting from Serb protests against newly elected Albanian mayors in Serb-majority municipalities.
According to AGK, at least five attacks on journalists and media teams took place in the north of Kosovo today.
The vehicles of "Dukagjini" television and the "Kalso" portal were damaged, and a journalist and crew of the "Periscope" and "Gazeta Papyrus" portals were attacked. Earlier, the Albanian television "Top Channel" announced that her vehicle was damaged.
The Serbian national flag was hung on an armored vehicle of the Kosovo Special Police, while the letter "Z" (Z), which is the symbol of the Russian military in the war in Ukraine, was written on a vehicle of the NATO mission in Kosovo, KFOR.
