Slovenian government introduces restrictive anti-covid measures to deal with growing number of newly infected covid
All employees of the state administration in Slovenia who do not have immunity, ie have not received a vaccine or have not contracted the disease in order to continue going to work will have to be vaccinated. A negative PCR test is no longer enough, the Slovenian government has decided.
According to the latest government decision, in order to continue going to work, the employees will have to receive the first dose by October 1, while the second no later than November 1, if they do not decide to receive the "Johnson & Johnson" vaccine which is applied in one dose.
The tightening of the epidemiological measures according to which for work, public transport, going to shopping malls, banks, post offices and other activities must have a quality certificate for vaccination or a negative test are in force from Wednesday. This sparked fierce protests in Ljubljana where protesters clashed with police.
