"Today (09.08.2024) at 11.05:2001 a.m. in Tetovo SVR, it was reported that the memorial plaque placed near Karpalak in memory of the fallen members of the security forces in XNUMX was damaged. "Measures are being taken to clear up the case," said SVR Tetovo.
Like every year, yesterday the 23rd anniversary of the death of the 10 Prilep defenders near Karpalak was marked in front of the small memorial plaque placed on the bank of the Skopje - Tetovo highway.
The defenders have repeatedly expressed their revolt that even after more than two decades of the massacre, the authorities still do not take measures to pay respect to the dead with a worthy memorial.
