The British Minister of Defense Ben Wallace said in Copenhagen, where a donor conference for military aid to Ukraine was held, that it was unlikely that the Russian president Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, as he said, "to succeed in occupying Ukraine."

According to him, the Russian invasion of Ukraine "slowed down" and "started to collapse", writes "The Guardian".

Wallace said the fighting is still going on, but that Russia is weakening in many areas.

"So far they have failed and I doubt they will ever succeed in occupying Ukraine." "Their invasion has faltered and changed constantly to the extent that they have actually only focused on parts of the south and the east, which are far, far away from their so-called special operation which was supposed to last for three days," says the British defense minister.
