The Israeli army, on the other hand, today called on the residents of certain areas in the southern part of the Gaza Strip to evacuate and go to the shelters towards the border with Egypt. Meanwhile, bombing continues in Gaza.
At the same time, according to the list published by the border authorities on the Palestinian side, more than 600 foreign citizens and Palestinians with dual citizenship are expected to enter Egypt today from the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing.
The list includes more than 300 US and Canadian citizens, as well as a large number of Germans, Norwegians, Greeks, Turks and Filipinos. According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the border crossing has been opened to nearly 900 foreign nationals and dual nationals since the ceasefire expired on Friday.
