From today until Thursday, the first application from the June enrollment deadline for future high school students will last, and in public high schools there are 30.053 vacancies in 913 classes, in 109 high schools. The second application this month is on June 23 and 24, and the third is on June 30.

Of the total number of vacancies in the first year of high school, 19. 602 are in vocational education in 604 classes, 9.261 in high school education in 274 classes and 1.190 places in 35 classes are for schools of art education, sports academy, sports high school and mathematics-information high school.

- The whole process of enrollment of future high school students, like last year, is with protocols that we have organized, with the fact that this year the enrollment lasts four days. So far we do not have any problems, the registration and enrollment of students is running smoothly - says Dragan Arsovski for "Free Press", director of SUGS Rade Jovcevski - Korcagin.

After the publication of the ranking lists with the enrollment results, the students who are not enrolled in the school, obligatorily pick up the entire submitted documentation submitted to the school within 48 hours, and schools are required to return all documentation to students within 48 hours.

From conversations with some of the parents and students from Skopje, it can be noticed that Korchagin is one of the high schools where there is the greatest interest in enrolling future high school students, but great interest is shown and for the high schools "Orce Nikolov" and "Nikola Karev", as well as for the medical high school "Pance Karagjozov".

- The number of students who apply is always large, this is the case this year as well. Our high school is one of the most attractive for future high school students - thinks the ethics teacher, Elvira Mustafa from SUGS "Nikola Karev".

On the other hand, students who are referred to corrective exams, exam of the year, exams for faster progress, can enroll in schools where there are vacancies after the June deadline., ie on August 23, 2021.

MON this year focuses on secondary vocational education and that is why the spring organized a campaign "Study smart, work professionally" in the municipalities across the country, in cooperation with the chambers of commerce, the local self-governments and the high schools, in order to determine which are the necessary profiles that should be opened in a certain school or which should be put on hold.

In order to motivate students to enroll in secondary vocational education, scholarships have been introduced during the nine months of the next school year: 2.000 scholarships worth 3.500 denars for all students who will enroll in dual class or three-year vocational education, and 200 scholarships of 2.200 denars will be awarded to students enrolled in the first year in deficient professions, such as electrical, mechanical, catering tourist, construction-geodetic, agricultural-veterinary and textile-leather professions.
